Ten things I would not want to live without

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Here are 10 things I would hate to live without…in no particular order with the exception of #1, she’s my favorite child this week.

1. MY NEW BIKE! Isn’t she a beauty? Seriously, folks, this is my first “big girl” bike and I love her.

-12. My reusable KOR ONE water bottle. It’s cool to the core, I mean KOR. Not only does it have a killer design but the company has a killer passion for water related charities, in fact, their mission is to “protect and celebrate water.” Pick one up for yourself. You’re worth it. Use this code at checkout for 15% off your order: KWS-12397.

kor one3. My watch or Gymboss. I never wear a watch to tell time, but for timing my rest periods between sets. My coaches prescribe rest periods for a reason and I follow them as if my life depended on it. That, and if you look at your watch between sets it sends a message that you are hardcore and people tend to leave you alone and let you get to work.

blackfront8meg4. My fitbook. If you were on the MP4 4-Um teleseminar last month you probably heard me ramble on about my love of my nutrition and workout journal, fitbook. [If you weren't on the call please make sure you sign up for our mailing list on the right hand side of this very page so you won't miss another one!] fitbook is a 12 week journal that walks you through the process of setting a goal and making it happen. It’s great for recording all of my MP4 workouts and my food that fuels those workouts.

5. My gym towels. I sweat. A lot. I towel off (and smile!) with my whimsical towels by Words to Sweat By.

6. My jump stretch bands. These resistance bands are great for dynamic warm ups, stretching, or assisting with pull and chin ups when you need a boost. Speaking of boosts I love…

7. My Eboost. Eboost is a great tasting, green tea powered, energy drink you mix with water. It’s also packed with an alphabet of vitamins including one my fave’s, good ole Vitamin C — like 1,00 MG of it, but who’s counting?

8. My Justin’s Nutbutter Squeeze Packs. I have a peanut butter addiction so squeeze packs from Justin’s keep portion control in check. Plus these suckers are great to toss in your gym bag, back pack, briefcase, purse, or manbag.

100cal39. My protein. I have mad respect for protein. I do not eat chicken or beef (because I’m stubborn) so I rely on other sources like eggs, my beloved Greek yogurt and protein powder.

10. My network. What can I say? I’m social. Are you connected with MP4 on Facebook or Twitter? If not, make like my FAVORITE NIKE HAT and just do it!
