Um… Yum. And, yes, a Vita-Mix allows you to sneak greens into just about anything. Bonus! I’m all about salad and veg in the morning. Once you get past the fact that it’s “unusual” culturally, it’s good stuff!

    Yummy! I can

  3. Breakfast is what gets me out of bed most mornings! HA! Lately I’m loving a a blended protein shake with berries and spinach. Protein/Fruit/Veggie in a blender…bliss!

Hey ladies! Glad that the breakfast ideas are inspiring ya’ll. The blender/Vitamix cold smoothie creations are wonderful in the hot weather. I really do want to know if anyone comes up with something delicious.

Very good suggestions. I get my workout done first thing at 5am and have very little time to prepare breakfast, get ready, get my son ready, etc. I often go for the oatmeal with protein powder and a handful of berries. I can usually eat it while I am heading upstairs to start the getting ready routine. Lol.

Hi Wes, Great to hear from you. I on purpose didn’t include oatmeal and protein powder, that old chestnut. It’s a great standby, one that we all have gagged down by the bucketfuls. Ha! I was hoping to offer something new. Plus I never found the perfect protein powder that would stir in smoothly and not get gloppy. Which one do you like? Thanks for commenting!!!!

Seanna, the vanilla EAS whey is what I am using now. Mix in some dried cranberries and it kind of tastes like a cookie.

Oh, the things we can convince ourselves that taste good. Ha! I’ll try it. Thanks!
