I totally need all TEN of these movements in my life. I was just telling Jodi my range of motion could use a big range of improvement. Consistently adding in mobility and flexibility movements into my training will do me a world of good.
Amy – another fantastic post. Too often I don’t stretch enough before and after training or cardio but I am making sure I do now. I will defnitely incorporate these into my routines.
Okay, I just printed this out. Can I just say how pretty the front body opener move is? When you do it at least… Anyhow, you inspire me. I love my new yoga workshop. My instructor Rusty is so good at attention to detail and posture. He picked up on my tight shoulders immediately. 1x/week is just not enough for me so I’m adding a day. That said, more focus on stretching and MFR has improved my hips a lot lately. I hope all of this limbers me up for my intended “Learn to Row” class either this May or August. I rowed in college and you needed power and flexibility (which leads to power…), so I need to get that up to snuff! Thanks for this, Kas. What a fabulously useful post!!!
Thanks Heather! I’m so glad. And the front opener is fabulous, I think you’ll love it. And I’m psyched you are enjoying the yoga workshop! It will be awesome for you and your shoulders/hips!

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!
Joanna, I hear you! I had the flexibility, but was lacking the mobility. Adding in a warm up with mobility work has been SO wonderful for my body!
